In the neighbouring Asturias, or more precisely in Salinas near Aviles, the studio of Iria Comoxo and David Olmos collaborated on the La Casa de AJ project. A young, lively and energetic project, based on the personality and spirit of the owner of the house.
In a plot of less than 130 square meters, it is strictly restricted, marking the impact on the alignment and height of the house. It shares a dividing wall with semi-independent buildings. The other house is only two meters opposite, and it is impossible. Open the gap in the back façade, and any mortal believes that there is nothing worth building there. but it is not the truth.

On the first floor, at the same level as the entrance to the plot, we found the social area. In one accommodates the living room and another kitchen and a small toilet. Both rooms are spacious and have large windows that open to the front, allowing light to enter and dilute the inner and outer parts.

The connection between the floors is through stairs with wooden steps and a very light white metal structure.

At the top we found the bedroom. One of the volumes involved lower volume façades to achieve more light, which the project sought.

We were shocked by the fact that every room in the house had a uniform line: wood. It is undoubtedly the protagonist of its impressive character, we can find it on the floor and some furniture that is custom designed for this occasion.
