Bunaco Speaker是由东京设计师nendo创作的扬声器。Bunaco的开发是为了有效利用日本青森县生长的丰富山毛榉树。通过轧制薄而窄的山毛榉木条带来创建基于线圈的形状，可以制造出防水，减少裂缝和变形的物品。除了用于各种应用，例如碗，装饰品和照明装置，该技术还针对无线扬声器进行了测试。由于内部空腔的形状，精细的台阶和山毛榉木的吸音特性，它已经被证明可以产生独特清晰柔和的色调。因此，设计了一种具有垂直竖立振膜的全向扬声器，旨在最大化声音质量和声音的空间分布。为了突出Bunaco的木制品的美丽，扬声器由透明的亚克力圆筒支撑。透明底座使得可以看到从底部卷曲的未完成边缘，使用户能够直观地了解扬声器的结构以及生产工艺。
Bunaco Speaker is a minimalist speaker created by Tokyo-based designer nendo. Bunaco was developed to make effective use of the abundance of beech trees that grow in Aomori prefecture in Japan. By rolling thin and narrow strips of beech wood to create coil-based shapes, objects that are water resistant with less cracks and distortions can be made. In addition to its use in various applications such as bowls, decorative goods and lighting fixtures, this technique is also tested for wireless speakers. As a result of the shape of the internal cavities, fine steps, and the sound absorbing qualities of the beech wood, it has been proven to produce a uniquely clear and soft tone. Therefore, an omni-directional speaker with a vertically standing diaphragm was designed, aiming to maximize the acoustic quality and the spatial distribution of the sound. To accentuate the beauty of Bunaco’s woodwork, the speaker is supported with a transparent acrylic cylinder. The clear base makes it possible to see the unfinished edge that is left curling from the bottom, enabling users to intuitively understand the speaker’s structure as well as the craftsmanship invested in its production.
