Although it looks like a house, this is Fernanda Bozza’s photography studio. Located in a commercial building in Jardins in São Paulo. Fernanda’s old studio was in her house and from there came the idea of bringing the cozy atmosphere to the new space. With photography focused on women, pregnant women and babies, the studio is divided into two parts.

The entrance with a pink hydraulic tile floor marks the office area with two workstations and a large bookcase that hides a small pantry, toilet and equipment cabinets. The tile floor meets the tauari wood floor all the way to the balcony where the existing frames were removed and the façade glazed, allowing as much natural light as possible. For the tests a bed and a bathtub were essential to create the intimate mood of the photos.

The selection of furniture and objects creates a mixture of pieces of young Brazilian designers with design classics. At the entrance the neon with the phrase of one of the main projects of the photographer “Every body is beautiful” that floods the studio of pink, to support coats and bags the chancel De Carvalho Atelier, Stool 60 stool Alvar Aalto and the stool Butterfly Vitra. The tables are open design from Open Desk and the chairs from Vitra. The pantry embraced by the bookcase in pink lacquer was painted in Sapatilha pink from Tintas Suvinil that matched perfectly with the lacquer of the cabinetry and the bathroom receives the same paint on half wall in the alignment of the tub box in carrara marble. The Bubblicious painting by artist Billy Sáez from BG27 brings a touch of humor to the small pantry that is mimicked in the bookcase by two doors.

Besides the need for abundant natural light, Fernanda needed a white background free of any interference for photos and a stool, which was chosen the Trama by Humberto da Mata. The highlight element of the environment is the Genius Locci Cabinet by designer Nicole Tomazi, used to support towels for the bathtub that really works despite everything being thought to be a set.
