Flange is a minimal stool designed by Berlin and Milan-based studio Lotto. Flange is a mono-material stool made from sand cast aluminum. Commonly used to produce large scale industrial products or sculptures, sand casting creates a unique rough surface texture. By emphasizing this texture the method of production is still apparent in the final product.
