A family home located in Sydney, this project is primarily focused on the interconnections of cloistered spaces, created and selected framed openings.
The entire house has nearly the original continuous length of floor material and a black aluminum, black steel, stainless steel and oak limited palette, and a close connection between the original and the new. These materials are selected in part so as not to compete with the ornate patterns of the original houses and their own intrinsic qualities.
