橘子屋是为一对年轻医生规划的，它是一个220平方米的住宅，位于圣保罗的Alto da Lapa社区，被邻居们包围着。其目的是设计充足和可渗透的综合空间，为城市生活提供一种现代方法。
Planned for a couple of young doctors, Tangerine House is a 220 m2 residence lodged in an elongated and narrow plot, surrounded by neighbors, in the Alto da Lapa neighborhood in São Paulo. The aim was to design ample and permeable integrated spaces, offering a contemporary approach to urban living.
首先，柱子被移到地块的侧面界限，允许在整个长度上有一个自由的开放计划。在与结构工程师的合作下：梁、液压系统和其他基础设施元素也被转移到结构的周边，保留了表面混凝土板的视觉纯净度。
Firstly, the columns were moved to the lateral limits of the plot, allowing for a free open plan throughout its length. In collaboration with a structural engineer: beams, hydraulic systems, and other infrastructure elements were also shifted to the perimeter of the structure, preserving the visual purity of the apparent concrete slab.
底层的入口通向一个穿越所有楼层的中庭，并拥有一个内部花园，再加上前后立面的大型落地窗，确保了充足的自然光线和通风。在面向街道的正面，由砖块砌成的防风墙创造了一些开口，过滤进入室内的光线。另一方面，对于盥洗室和洗衣房来说，实心砖块在空间内形成了一个单一的封闭体。房子的各层由一个带有木质台阶的金属楼梯连接。它的设计圆滑而简洁，使它对光线的传递变得细腻而通透。
The entrance on the ground floor leads to an atrium that traverses all stories and boasts an internal garden, which, along with large floor-to-ceiling openings on both front and rear facades, ensures plenty of natural light and ventilation. On the front facade, which faces the street, a breeze block wall made of bricks creates openings that filter the movement of light into the house. For the washroom and laundry room, on the other hand, the solid bricks form a single enclosed volume within the space. The stories of the house are connected by a metallic staircase with wooden steps. Its design is sleek and concise, making it delicate and permeable to the passage of light.
在一楼，两间为未来的孩子们准备的套间卧室面向房子的正面。自然光是通过连接在外墙上的滑动板条来控制的。主卧室位于地块后部，开口朝向景观区，拥有一个壁橱、浴室和私人阳台。二楼有一个多功能空间：一部分是酒吧，一部分是电视室，它向一个宽敞的露台开放，可以看到Villa Lobos公园周围的城市景观。表面的混凝土板向外伸出，在露台上形成了一个天篷。
On the first floor, two ensuite bedrooms for the future children face the front of the house. Natural light is controlled by means of sliding slatted panels attached to the facade. Towards the back of the lot, with openings towards the landscaped areas, the master bedroom boasts a closet, bathroom, and private balcony. The second floor houses a multipurpose space: part bar, part TV room, which opens towards a spacious terrace with a view to the city surrounding Villa Lobos park. The apparent concrete slab projects outwards, forming a canopy over the terrace.

The project favored the use of apparent materials, keeping cladding to a minimum as a way of highlighting its natural aspects. Besides the apparent concrete slabs, solid bricks arose as an important element in the identity of the project. They have also made the spaces more welcoming through their tone and texture. The use of wood, for the flooring in intimate spaces, as well as in the millwork design and choice of furniture, enhances the sensation of comfort throughout the house. Decoration items, such as vases, bowls, and other pieces in terracotta and wood, were selected with the aim of harmonizing with the materials that lend the house its identity.
