La Ramona is a residential project of CRÜ, an architectural studio run by Clàudia Raurell and Joan Astallé. Located in the historic centre of Barcelona, the space has an office configuration inside a very refined and urbanized building, the author of the project explained.
In order to restore the nature of the manor, the partition was removed and the structural elements remained visible, which was part of maintaining the personality.

The project consists of two planes of overlapping materialization: the level adds warmth through the ceramic entrevigado and wooden parquet on the ceiling – and the vertical surface provides neutrality through the white veneer, and only the particleboard door breaks continuity.
In this neutral environment, defined by the white color, different textures become important, from rough bricks to the best furniture kitchens, where the past and the present coexist in peace and harmony.
