The “Miguel Torga Space” cultural center proposes, among other activities, to study and disseminate the poetic and literary work of Miguel Torga.

The schist walls (characteristic elements of this area), draw the boundaries of the building and define its image.
建筑物被植入到旧集市的南部，有两个入口，公共（东）和服务（西），由墙壁的错位设置。还有一个直接通往食堂（西）的入口，通过一个大玻璃门，允许一个独立的项目。
The building is implanted south of old fair grounds and has two entrances, public (east) and services (west), set by the mismatch of the walls. There is also a direct entrance to the cafeteria (west), through a large glass door, allowing an independent program.
利用地面的坡度，墙壁被延伸到东北方向，框住了市场区域。18棵树调节了这个空间，在大多数日子里作为市场，或作为文化中心的一个停车场。
Taking advantage of the slope of the ground, the walls were extended to the northeast, framing the market area. 18 trees modulate this space that serves to as a market most days, or as a parking lot for the Cultural Center.
该建筑有两层（地面层和低于地面层的一层），场地面积约1315平方米，室外停车场/市场约3115平方米，高度可变，有两道墙，在1米（停车场/市场）和5.5米（建筑）之间配置。
The building has two floors (a ground floor and one floor below ground level), a site area of approximately 1315 m2, an outdoor parking area / market of approximately 3115 m2 in a variable height, and two walls that configure it, between 1 meter (parking / fair) and 5.5 meters (building).
在结构上，该建筑由钢筋混凝土结构组成，外部由福斯-科阿的片岩支柱覆盖。结构性的内墙是由混凝土制成的，隔断是由砖砌成的；在这个系统上设置了最终的饰面。屋顶涂有一层片岩卵石。
Constructively the building consists of a reinforced concrete structure externally clad in schist pillars of Foz-Coa. Structural interior walls are made of concrete and partitions are made of brick masonry; on this system are set up the final finishes. The roof is coated with a layer of schist cobble.
