Torrevieja is a coastal town located south of Alicante, known for its powerful tourist attraction. It is located in the surroundings of a place of high landscape and ecological value on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, known as Las Lagunas de La Mata and Torrevieja.
Distant views of this natural area, a recently built urbanization in which there are still no neighboring buildings, a marked topography and a complete block with a triangular shape constitute the context in which Balzar Arquitectos and Julia Alcocer have designed the Mirasal residential complex.

The project resolves the implantation in the plot adjusting to its perimeter to create a large garden in the interior. The building seeks to harmonize with the topography, matching the natural ground levels. It is an architecture with a will to express itself as a whole, whose plasticity is given by its horizontal proportions and its white materiality.
The building is under construction, with an estimated date of completion of the first phase of works for the beginning of 2019. Recently, the pilot house for the commercialization of the complex has been completed and equipped.
