The renovated house is located on the first floor of a rationalist building, built in the 60’s in a central street of Murcia, in the vicinity of the main commercial area of the city.
The proposal tries to favor the feeling of spaciousness by eliminating the existing partition and organizing the program only by pivoting and sliding panels and fixed furniture, used in turn to regularize the surface of the space.

Special attention has been given to the integration of the different construction elements, such as facilities, existing structure, artificial lighting, furniture and doors with the aim of generating a unified global composition, a criterion that for a time ago we have very present in our works .
The dark pavement of smoked oak generates the desired contrast with the clear white surfaces of both paint and lacquered woods and serves to balance the composition. At dusk, the house dyes its golden walls with the warmth of artificial light.
