The conception in creating the city of Brasília was to leave a cultural and artistic mark never before seen through its architecture and urbanism. In face of this scenario, the idea arose to cross two axes, which later received the name Plano Piloto (Pilot Plan), today recognized by its airplane shape and its famous Super Blocks. And it is in one of these Super Blocks, more specifically in the 313 of Asa Sul that Paleta Apartment is inserted, a project that had as its clients' main demand a space to receive friends and family without losing the modern and contemporary characteristics in which the city was conceived.

In the 140m2 of the plan we focused on keeping the 3 existing bedrooms and highlighting the social area. To do this we moved the service area to where the old employees' room used to be, connecting the kitchen to the cobogó façade and integrating it with the dining and living room, resulting in a gain of natural lighting and cross ventilation. Beams and pillars were left exposed in a rustic way, but to give texture to the cobogó concrete, the facade was painted white. The kitchen was delimited from the floor with the use of granite, material that was also applied in the central island, creating a gray block that contrasts with the rest of the apartment. The white is again inserted in the countertop of the sink in Corian and in the cabinetry, which draws attention by the "straw" applied. Following the project's concept, the materials chosen for the living room seek to create a neutral base: bricks, wainscoting panel (which receives the TV and the built-in china cabinet with a mimetic door) and original parquet flooring. The intention is to highlight the furniture and ornaments that, together with the external vegetation that penetrates the apartment through the glass façade, bring life and color to the palette.

The wet areas were the ones that received most of the renovation. The suite's bathroom also benefited from the change in the staff's room, receiving lighting and ventilation coming from the cobogós and making possible the creation of a closet in the suite. A toilet was created where previously there was a closet. The tiles used in these spaces were porcelain tile, Roman Travertine stone, special white marble, brick and hydraulic tile, always in beige and white tones. The project's intention was a renovation to adapt the floor plan to the residents' current needs. Its conception sought to respect the original idea of the Super Quadra concept and for this reason we used sober and timeless materials, applying white in several elements and in different textures, complementing it with light tones followed by a palette of beige and gray, thus arising the project's name.
