Lookofsky Architecture

Lookofsky Architecture have recently completed the transformation of a 1920s apartment in Stockholm, Sweden, that received a modern makeover with a custom designed 22 foot (7m) long wall of storage and seating.
Stepping inside, a small hallway that leads to the social area of the apartment has been painted yellow.

The yellow hallway opens up to an open room with the dining room, kitchen, and living room. A custom designed wall full of white cabinetry has protruding yellow lined boxes that house the kitchen and a seating nook.
At the end of the wall is the seating nook, where a small built-in bookshelf sits beside yellow upholstered cushions that provide comfort for a day of reading.

In the kitchen, hidden lighting adds a bright touch, while a stainless steel countertop contrasts both the yellow and white cabinetry. A yellow island provides additional storage for the kitchen.
Yellow has also been used as to brighten up the bathroom that’s located in the entryway by the front door. Grey tile in the shower and on the floor complement the concrete washbasin.
