As a pioneer in vertical transport, Schindler is one of the world’s leading service providers for elevators and escalators. Switzerland, with its headquarters in Ebikon, plays a key role in this.
We designed an exclusive Sky Lounge for the new Schindler Visitor Center. Here, the guest encounters a unique overall experience. Schindler’s future vision of designing and building smart mobility solutions in urban mega-cities can be seen and experienced here.
The project also stands for the company’s core values: quality, precision and innovation. Selected materials such as hot-rolled steel, natural stone, glass and wood give the room a completely independent atmosphere and meet the high standards of quality, durability and Swiss tradition. The interplay of different elements and forms of expression runs like a red thread through the overall concept and shows itself on a small and large scale on different levels. The Sky Lounge impresses not only with the dialogue between the materials as a room composition, but also with its flexible uses.
