A new tile collection Ensemble, encompassing new works and tweaked classics, celebrates the ten-year relationship between celebrated French design duo Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec and ceramics brand Mutina.
This wide project features new editions of Pico and Rombini classics, two new ceramic collections dubbed Punto and Bloc, and a venture with a new material: Pico Bois, that sees the pattern of the Pico collection applied to a wooden floor.
These products perfectly capture the essence of the research carried forward until now, linked by a common thread – they can be combined with each other to create immersive interiors of strong aesthetic coherence.

“The most amazing thing is to see how all these collections blend perfectly, also when they are used together. They allow infinite solutions: the same element, matt or glossy, pink or green, evokes different sensations. The colour palette, paired with different ways of processing ceramic, provides great variety and coherence at the same time,” said Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec.
The word Ensemble – together, in French – refers to the unity of shapes and colours that characterised the projects realised by Studio Bouroullec, imbued with Brittany’s atmospheres, Ronan and Erwan’s beloved homeland. Furthermore, Ensemble perfectly embodies the constant exchange of ideas and thoughts on which the relationship between Mutina and the designers is built on.
The new collections and the re-editions were officially presented during Cersaie at Mutina Headquarters in Fiorano Modenese.
