The TF apartment renovation, located at SQN 315, in Brasília, intended to preserve almost all of its original structure. The main change was the complete opening of the kitchen to the living and dining room. Thus, a wider and more socially comfortable space was created for the kitchen, giving it a new function, which was previously only a service area.
客户是一对有两个小女儿的夫妇，他们选择了一种更安静的房屋装修语言：白墙和木地板，以一种舒适的方式衔接空间。颜色的出现是有规律的：蓝色在浴室的内衬中，黄色在厨房的细木家具中。在女儿们的卧室里，带来色彩的是其本身的用途。
The clients, a couple with two small daughters, opted for a quieter language in the house finishes: white walls and wood flooring, which articulates the spaces in a cozy way. The colors are present in a punctual way: blue, in the bathrooms, and yellow, in the kitchen cabinetry. In the daughters’ bedroom, the color is brought by their own use.

The lighting design was elaborated in order to enhance the value of the client’s artwork, with directed lighting: there is a 7.20m long cabinet that works as a gallery for the couple’s belongings, following the modulation of the building’s original frames. This cabinet was also designed to be flexible: its shelves are removable and can be relocated at different heights, according to the acquisition of new works of art, books, and travel objects.

In the kitchen, its white tiled walls with black grout enhance the granite countertop and the granite floor, which are also present in the service area. The grayish materiality speaks with the concrete cobogós that separate these two environments in mismatched panels, allowing a connection and easy access between them, since the service bathroom was transformed into a guest toilet.
